Italian Restaurants and Delis

The Royal Pacific Motor Inn is located at the intersection of Chinatown and North Beach, San Francisco’s historic neighborhood known as “Little Italy.” It is famous for its abundance of Italian culture, restaurants and delis. Following are some of our favorites:

The Stinking Rose - 430 Columbus Avenue

Named after the historic name for garlic, The Stinking Rose even integrates the herb into its desserts and serves over 3,000 pounds of garlic each month! Visitors will love the unique menu and whimsical decor, including the world’s longest garlic braid, colorful murals and a miniature mechanical garlic factory. thestinkingrose.com

Molinari Delicatessen - 373 Columbus Avenue

Established in 1896, Molinari Delicatessen is one of the oldest delis in the United States. They make their own salami that is so good that it even won a gold medal in Italy. Grab food to bring back to your room or make it a picnic in nearby Washington Square Park. molinaridelisf.com
